Please review these official rules carefully before participating in the FindMeQuiz.com contest. By participating in the game, you agree to be bound by the rules. This includes receiving e-mails each time you play the FindMeQuiz.com contest.

ELIGIBILITY

The FindMeQuiz.com contest is open only to legal residents of the United States, who are over the age of 18, or the legal age of the majority in the jurisdiction where the person resides, whichever is greater. Under no circumstances may minors participate in or win a prize in the FindMeQuiz.com contest. Void where prohibited by law. The Game is open only to residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia that are eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of participation. Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate: any person who on or after July 1, 2012 (a) was or is a FindMeQuiz.com owner, or a director, officer, employee, agent, or independent contractor of a FindMeQuiz.com; (b) was or is a director, officer, employee, agent, or independent contractor of FindMeQuiz.com, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated companies or service agencies; (c) employees, directors, or officers of any entity engaged in the development, production or distribution of the game or game materials or of any entities retained by any of the Sponsors for the administration of the Game; (d) Employees, independents contractors, agents, successors, and assignees of FindMeQuiz.com, its advertising agencies, and promotional companies for the duration of the game they have active clue questions related to the respective promotional company;  (e) family and household members of any of the above prohibited individuals.

CONDUCT

By participating in the FindMeQuiz.com contest, you agree that these official rules and the decision of the judges will be final and binding in all respects. The official rules will be posted on the FindMeQuiz.com website throughout the contest. Any individuals found to be tampering with the operation or entry process of the website or any contest therein or abusing the FindMeQuiz.com contest in anyway, as determined in the sole discretion of the judges, will be disqualified and will forfeit any and all rights to any prizes.

If a participant visits a website, answers questions, and has not completed a participation form, that participant will not be awarded any winnings. You need to have a verified account with FindMeQuiz.com with a username to play the game. You can use any method to answer the question, including a dictionary, newspaper, encyclopedia, atlas, magazine, and the internet.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE AND/OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, FOR WHICH FINDMEQUIZ.COM WILL SEEK DAMAGES AND/OR PROSECUTION TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

ODDS OF WINNING AND TAX LIABILITY

Odds of winning any of the promotional contests depends on how many entries for each individual promotional period.

Any taxes liability results from the awarding of a prize shall be totally the responsibility of the winner. Each winner must agree as a condition to receiving any prize. FindMeQuiz.com withhold any amounts required by law but FindMeQuiz.com assumes no obligation for reporting or withholding taxes from the prize except as required by law.

30-DAY CONTEST:

The prize of $0.00 will be paid for the 30-day promotion contest.  There will be 20 product clue questions and 20 trivia questions.  Contestants are allowed 30 days from the beginning of the 30 day promotion to submit a time for this promotion period. 

15-DAY CONTEST:

The prize of $0.00 will be paid for the 15 day promotion contest. There will be 12 product clue questions and 12 trivia questions.  Contestants are allowed 15 days from the beginning of the 15 day promotion to submit a time for this promotion period.  

7-DAY CONTEST:

The prize of $100.00 will be paid for the 7 day promotion contest. There will be 5 product clue questions and 5 trivia questions.  Contestants are allowed 7 days from the beginning of the 7 day promotion to submit a time for this promotion period. 

CLUE QUESTIONS

The clue question is answered based off FindMeQuiz.com Sponsor website product/service descriptions. The clue questions unlock the trivia questions. The clue question must be answered before you can get the trivia question.

CLUE ANSWERS

Answers need to be entered exactly as they appear on the product/service description of the Sponsor website. Answers must match exactly what is in the FindMeQuiz.com database and the system will not recognize an answer as correct unless it matches exactly. To input the answer for the clue question you must click the link. If you do not click the link you will not be able to input the answer and your time will continue. 

TRIVIA QUESTIONS

The trivia question is answered by self-knowledge or research. The trivia question has to be answered in order to see the next clue question for the next product/service. All questions must be answered to complete the contest. 

TRIVIA ANSWERS

Answers must be spelled correctly.  Years will appear in numeric form.  Answers that involve a number (other than a year) may appear in numeric form or may appear as a spelled word.  If an answer shows incorrect the first time there is a possibility the answer was spelled incorrectly or is in an improper form.  It could be possible the answer should be a full name rather than an abbreviated name or nickname, or vice-versa.  Attempting to answer the question in a different format may prove to be the correct answer.  Answers must match exactly what is in the FindMeQuiz.com database and the system will not recognize an answer as correct unless it matches exactly.  The answers are not case-sensitive.

SUBMITTING TIME

A player will have the choice to submit a time, or restart a game after reaching the last question in the each game session. A player only has one chance to submit a time per game. If the player chooses to restart, they will start their game completely over, losing all previous times for that game session. If the player submits a time at any point, they will not be able to submit another time until that game session period has ended.

RESTART

Players will be allotted the opportunity to restart their game session at any point during a game session. Players will be only allowed two restart options per game session that will restart the game at the beginning with different questions.  Once a player uses two restarts the option will change to a quit button.  If a player logs out of an active game without reaching a stop button it will count as one restart for the player.

QUIT AND LOGGING OUT

Players that choose to quit an active game session will use a restart if the option is still available.  If both restarts have been used and the player quits they will not be eligible to play again during that game session period.  Players that log out, click the back button, close window , power off computer, or any form of leaving during an active game session prior to reaching a stop button option will automatically use a restart if available.  If there is no restart available it will lock the player out of that game session period and the player will not be eligible to play again during that game session period.

EVENT OF TIE

In the event that more than one participant finishes with the same time, there will be a question e-mailed to each participant with the fastest time.  The participant that answers the emailed question the fastest shall be the sole winner for that contest.

TIMING

The FindMeQuiz.com computer is the official time keeping device for the entire contest. The clock on the home page is counting down the hours and minutes until the end of that contest session. Once the time reaches all zeros a new contest will begin. The timing of all contest are (eastern standard) time.

Timer for the game session will be shown only to the player in that games session.

TIME CREDIT

You must be a registered user of FindMeQuiz.com to receive time credit for any game promotion contest. Winners will receive an e-mail to the address provided informing of the time credit.  A person that doesn't have a user account can create an account at FindMeQuiz.com to be able to use the time credit. FindMeQuiz.com will e-mail instructions on what game promotion contest the time credit can be applied. FindMeQuiz.com time credit will expire when the stated e-mail game promotion contest period expires. You can only use one time credit per game. Time credit is non-transferable.

Players will have to enter their ID from their Social Media websites to receive the time credit that was promoted. The player is responsible for updating their social media ID at FindMeQuiz.com in their my account section. Players that earned time credit to apply to a FindMeQuiz game must enter their ID so the time credit can be verified. Players that do not give the ID can still play but will not get time credit towards a FindMeQuiz game. 

TIMER

Timer for the game session will be shown only to the player in that games session.

NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION OF WINNER

The prize winner will be notified by e-mail within 72 hours after the completion of a game promotion. The winner will be posted on the FindMeQuiz.com winner’s page for each contest. Note: All prizes will be paid out after a 30 day period.  All promotions will be paid out after verification of winner. The winners have 10 business days after receiving and returning the affidavit to FindMeQuiz.com to be paid.

In order to be declared a winner, individual participants are responsible for maintaining accurate user information such as e-mail, phone number and mailing address by updating user account at FindMeQuiz.com. Groups cannot win the game. There can only be one winner for each promotion contest period. Once a winner is verified, that person and any family and household members with the same mailing address will not be allowed to win for 90 days.

Prizes will only be awarded upon winner verification by the judges whose decisions will be final.  Potential winners will be required, as a condition to receiving any prize, to complete, sign and return a notarized affidavit of eligibility and liability release within 10 days following attempted notification.  FindMeQuiz.com will post a winner’s name online. Failure to deliver the affidavit of eligibility and liability release within the specified time period may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. Postal, phone number or e-mail return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and forfeiture of prize.

The notarized affidavit and instruction will be mailed via certified mail to the user's mailing address that is on file. The certified mail must be signed for by the registered user. FindMeQuiz LLC will provide a prepaid certified mail envelope to return the notarized affidavit and that must be used for security purposes.

SOCIAL MEDIA 

FindMeQuiz game is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Any question, comments or complaints regarding the FindMeQuiz game will be directed to FindMeQuiz.com, not Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. 

DISCLAIMERS

The owners and creators of the FindMeQuiz.com contest and website reserve the right to create basic rules that govern the use of the FindMeQuiz.com website, and to update or change the rules as FindMeQuiz.com deems necessary at its sole discretion. New amended rules will be effective when posted on the website. If the rules change, your continued use of the site constitutes your agreement to be bound by the new rules.

FindMeQuiz.com and its sponsors, suppliers, insurers, and affiliates are not responsible for any invalid entries caused by software incompatibility, typographical errors, or for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries or for any failure of computers, electronic equipment, online access, or network connections, or other technical malfunction, or viruses or effects of hackers that may occur.

Your use of the FindMeQuiz.com contest is at your own risk. THE CONTENTS OF THIS WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS BASIS WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. By your use of this site, you acknowledge, that FindMeQuiz.com shall not be liable for any damages of any kind to your participation in the FindMeQuiz.com game or your other use of this site. 

The questions and answers on findmequiz.com are for testing and increase of knowledge. They are correct to the best of knowledge of findmequiz.com. Sometimes people can have different views. In findmequiz.com contests the decision of findmequiz.com is final.  Findmequiz.com does not hold any liability or responsibility if answers considered correct by us are considered incorrect by others. FindMeQuiz.com and its sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software failures of any kind because of or related to technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or the website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this promotion.   

If, for any reason, any portion of this promotion is compromised or is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which, in the sole judgment of FindMeQuiz.com, might corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity and/or proper conduct of this contest, FindMeQuiz.com may in its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, or suspend all promotional contests.

PURCHASING

All purchases within the FindMeQuiz.com contest are between the participant and the seller. FindMeQuiz.com WILL NOT receive any portion of the proceeds from the sale of any products sold within the game. All sales and returns done by sponsor are to be done with the participant. Transactions and any purchasing of a product within the contest are between the participant and sponsor.  The transaction between the participant and the seller IS NOT part of FindMeQuiz.com contest.   

PLAYER RELEASE

By participating in the game at the site, participants agree to release and hold FindMeQuiz.com and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and action of any kind in connection with FindMeQuiz.com and its game and promotional activities.

GOVERNING LAW

The laws of the state of Michigan and the United States shall govern all questions concerning the construction, interpretation and enforceability of these official rules.
